I love doing photo shoots in fabulous locations! I'm very much inspired by Urban settings. Lots of textured walls. Concrete. Doors. Windows. Colour. Graffiti. You get the idea. On Wednesday night I met Tressa and Denis in New Westminster, right by The Keg. You'll remember Tressa from an early session when I photographed her baby shower. Tressa is due in about 2 weeks so we made it in time! Now that the maternity pictures are done their little one can come any time it wants! =)
Anyway, location. I love it. We maybe walked around a 1 block radius and I had more than enough fabulous pictures to choose from! Tressa was stunning and such a natural in front of the camera. Seriously photogenic and such a gorgeous Mamma-to-be! Being preggo suits you, Tressa ;)
So, being as inspired and excited as I was about this session I finished editing all the pictures already. Wowza! haha. It's good, though, because I had an engagement session tonight, and I have a fabulous session on Sunday and another couples session soon after in another fabulous location! Busy busy busy. Love it Love it Love it.
Here's just a few of my favourites from Tressa and Denis' maternity shoot!

ANETT & ROBERT /maternity
A couple weeks ago I met this couple in Fort Langley for a maternity session. I love maternity sessions. I remember when I was uber-preggo with my daughter and I had my girlfriend take some pictures for me and I just loved them. It's your last photos of just you and your husband/boyfriend before you add another person into your lives. And who doesn't like a baby belly! Ok, some don't, but I love them!!
Anett has been a faithful Facebook follower which I love! So it was nice to finally put a face to the name and meet her husband, Robert. I love their German accents (they only moved here a couple years ago!) and they're excitement for their little peanut!
I wanted to say a huge thank-you to Puddle Jumpers for letting us take a few photos inside their store, and for letting us borrow some props- the old pram!
Here's what we ended up with:

|KARLA & DANNY| maternity
I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for this oh-so-lovely couple last week. They're expecting their first baby in just a few weeks and asked me to do a maternity shoot for them. I love the aura a pregnant woman has. There's a beauty that just radiates from her, and Karla was no exception. What a beauty! And so great to photograph!
We met at Campbell Valley Park and only walked a short distance into the trail for our session. This park is massive. I have yet to go and actually walk through the whole thing to scout it out but I know there are lots of photographing nooks and crannies all over the park!
Hope you enjoy the photos!

This next one is gorgeous!! Karla, you are stunning!
