More Practice

Tomorrow's the big day! I'm so excited to have fun with my first photo shoot. I don't really know what to expect, but I am planning to take advantage of the opportunity to practice with my camera, lighting, posing and just the flow of everything.

I went for a lovely walk with Cheyenne this afternoon to buy some flowers for tomorrow's shoot. I'll arrange them tonight and take some pictures tomorrow to show you. White flowers and green something else. I don't know what they're called! You can tell me after you see the pictures!

On the way to Safeway (yeah, I could have bought the flowers at the IGA down the street but there's a Starbucks by Safeway so I was enticed in that direction- an extra 15-20 minute walk!) I decided to stop in "the alley" for a few shots of Cheyenne in her stroller. You can never practice too much, at least I don't think you can! I used my new lens to get a better feel for it, yet again. Here's what I came up with.

And here's a few I took the other day.

This last picture really shows how the lens works. Only that one bit of the chain is in focus and the rest isn't. Depth of field is an awesome thing!

I'll be bringing my laptop with me tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'll be able to post some sneak peaks or not but I will try my darndest to!
