Richmond Portrait Session /BEATRIZ

I met Beatriz years and years ago. She used to babysit me! She recently started her own business selling hand-knit cowls and other accessories. She asked me if I could take some pictures of her wearing her cowls so she could use them for her upcoming website. I was really excited about this shoot. Again, something I haven't specifically done before - shooting a product.

It turned out to be a lot of fun, despite the freezing cold weather we were blessed with that day! But the sun was shining and Beatriz had everything organized to a T for this shoot, which made it even better! She had made a list of each cowl and each outfit to go with each cowl. We shot each cowl in a different location to make sure we had lots of variety in the background.

Beatriz's company is called Lucky14 and you can see some of her work on her blog. Keep checking to see when she launches her website!

As an owner of a Lucky14 cowl myself, I can tell you that they are amazing! So warm. So pretty. So stylish. You can really tell that Beatriz put a lot of thought into every little detail, down to the packaging of the cowl. A must have, for sure!

These are my faves from the day:
